Not only does CPCOM offer a Tech Studio where one can attain assistance with their computer they can also buy a computer. This store offers mac products and Mac accessories. A good place for computers is a place where one could buy a computer. The Computer Store fits those criteria.  The Computer Store is a certified to sell Apple products, in which it is Apple product heavy. They also sell iPods for the recreational entertainment for staff, students, and faculty.

What is also a good place is where one could buy software and hardware. The Computer Store does offer software and hardware as well. One could buy a range of Microsoft Word to Norton Internet security. This store offers software at a discounted price. It is a good idea to have software at a discounted price because the fees of college are high. One is also able to buy accessories for their computer like flash drives and headsets. The Computer Store fits those criteria 

The Computer Store helps students in picking out a computer. They are more than happy to aid students in their pre-buying needs on what to buy for a computer. They offer assistance in a pre-buying sense and they also offer assistance in taking a computer back to the manufacture when a computer is not working  even though if it is not a mac computer in which they sell they will point one in the right direction even if it is down the walk way. The store is up to date in what the store sells; they do not sell outdated computers. This store is here for students, staff and faculty.

The Computer Store is a good place because there is a place to buy software, hardware, and accessories the store also offers software at a reduced student price on select software which is beneficial to the student of ASU.

What makes a good place for computers is the ability to use them. The Atrium fits those criteria. The Atrium is located on the main floor of CPCOM. This area has a policy where one may not take drinks into the atrium. The reason this policy is enforced is for the safety of the computers, spilling water or soda may render a computer useless, where the best option is when that would happen would be to look to the people who work at the Technology Studio to see if they could help.

This is where the students can either work in social groups and do course work or they can do recreational things on their computer. This place is the center of the CPCOM building. There are not only places to sit and outlets to charge ones computer but also wired computers for the use of course work. These computers can be for those who do not have their own laptop, they have cloud storage, when a student is working on a computer in the main floor and they save it they can later retrieve their work that they have done on the computer in CPCOM and transfer it to their home computer. Those computers are in the range of 225 both mac and PC (asu.edu). Mostly the students will do work that their course requires. This area is   where collaborative learning takes place. Students will be working together and collaborating and learning together and will also help each other. This area is like a comfy computer lab that is for free work. The CPCOM atrium is a good place in conclusion, there is a place where one can use their computer which is a good thing where one can unwind and play computer games but ultimately be productive in their class work.

 What makes a place good is to learn with computers. This room is a good place for computers, we have the ability to learn math with computers. Here students will learn one of the foundations of learning, math this third floor of the CPCOM building this is also called CPCOM 350, the Math Lab. This is a good learning environment, the students are more independent and they work at their own pace. The professor will have tutors and they will pace around the room and help students with not only their math needs but also software needs. When students are more introduced to different software they are able become more understanding of programs. Having a learning environment with computers is good. This is so because we are in contact with computers everyday so why do we not even put learning in to computers not just social media. We have come a long way from the traditional learning style we learn with power points and interactive programs.

As Dr. smith had said in her work of Display Computers  “No one will be left behind when using a computer, they are for everyone” (Smith 2). This is a good place for a learning environment. Math is a foundation for learning, having a math program in a computer based environment is a major step in learning environments. Learning environments with computers had been proposed as a question as how to help adults with algebra in their higher education. This classroom has a response to that question math is being understood through the computers that line the classroom. The program that the course offers is effective.” ... Students who had received computer based learning in mathematics had received higher scores than that of the students who had received traditional learning" (lewis 27).

Annotation 1

This is where the Tech Studio is located. This is where students are able to attain assistance with their computer needs. This is where students can acquire help with their computer needs. It can be from how to log on to to a computer the computer crashed and so on. This place is contributes to the advancement of technology. The are up to date with the advancement of technology. They will also help one with updating your computer.  They offer protection to your computer that will offer help with their knowledge of protecting your computer. They also teach mock classes where they will teach one how to use a computer and they will answer whatever questions one will have about computers. They are an example of what Dr.Smiths idea on no one will be left behind  Not only do these people who work at the tech studio offer help with windows' platform of computer but also they have a partnership with mac that lets them not only sell mac products they also have a person who is able to help with their mac needs. They aid in the advancement of understanding  a computer they are up to date with the information of computer and computer software. This is a good thing because they are here tho help with what one might need and they are good at what they do. There are some instances where they cannot answer however they will do what they can to understand and then help one understand whatever their problem is. “the hope is that, in not too many years, human brains and computing machines will be coupled together very tightly, and that the resulting partnership will think as no human brain has ever thought and process data in a way not approached by the information-handling machines we know today” (Smith 21). They will help with helping understanding computers and then teach tricks on how to effectively use computers.

We come in to contact with computers every day. Not only do we use it for Facebook and Twitter we use it for learning. There are uses and misuses of computer a use would be learning a misuse could be pirating and hacking which is a major problem today. We are in an advanced digital age where we do our day to day routines where we come in to contact with a computer. We do banking, buying, and now learning. When we learn from computers we are becoming advanced than from the traditional style of the earlier century of teaching. Students will have course work that is online ad teachers will communicate with their students through computers via email or blog or even through a Facebook group. One building is instrumental to the use of computers by communication, security and understanding of computers that building is the Building of CPCOM. CPCOM is located next to ASU Bookstore 501 E. Orange St
Tempe, AZ 85287. CPCOM has three floors of classrooms and offices for the staff and the students to use.

CPCOM is the center for computing and the center for information, security and understanding of computers whether through the Tech Studio or the Compute Store or the offices in the UTO section of CPCOM, the University Technology Office. Not only does this place offer information they also offer protection the people of ASU. The people will send out information via email about threats to computers and how to get protection. They also will send out information about prevention of illegal activity and will track what students are downloading and will receive notifications when there is a one student who does not follow the policy and the law. Disciplinary action can be taken when one does not follow the rules it could range from taking an awareness class that teaches students about policy and the illegality of pirating to taking ones computer off the network and will receive disciplinary actions on a student’s transcript or ultimately be expelled and receive a fine for piracy and other misuses . In result CPCOM is a place that is good for computers.

The following annotations will be judged on whether CPCOM is a good place for computers.  A good place for computers should have a place that has the option for tech support where one can have their computer fixed, a place to buy a computer, and a place to use computers. CPCOM has those criteria. Without these criteria being filled it would not be a good place for computers.

CPCOM is an advanced learning environment where there is an interaction between computers and humans. This place is where students can use computers and where they can also learn more about computers. The building also offers meeting rooms for students and faculty. The building offers the students wired classrooms for use of the internet and they are also able to acquire help with their computer needs with the Tech studio that ASU offers to the students. The CPCOM building is a foundation to the advancement of the technology. The building is for all computer needs. Whenever one will go into CPCOM’s store or tech center they should think "Computers are for everyone no one will be left behind" (Smith 2). The CPCOM building is a beacon of information and protection to the staff, Faculty, and students of ASU. This is good for our Digital
 age.
